          This weekend was quite uplifting..no pictures with this post, but hopefully you get some spiritual nourishment as we have this weekend. We had quite a privilege of attending a sealing this weekend at the salt lake temple. This young couple had been married a year civilly and they have a beautiful little girl. While we sat in this little room enveloped in the spirit we listened to some things the sealer said to this beautiful little couple. He began talking about the priesthood power on earth today and what a blessed time we live in due to the blessings we can receive from the priesthood. Ordinances such as baptism, receiving the gift of the holy ghost, the endowment (received in the temple), and celestial marriage. When he reached the part about celestial marriage he paused and said "as much as this pains me to say, the marriage you had prior to this was for time only. However, you are about to receive through the priesthood power the gift and great blessing of being sealed to your eternal companion for time and all eternity." When the sealer mentioned this my brain froze on the great privilege and blessing of being with my best friend for time and all eternity. That in and of itself is worth all the trials this life has to offer. He then continued to speak of how we need the savior in all we do, our hopes and dreams within the gospel are achieved with faith in Jesus Christ. If we do not have the faith everything we do within the gospel of Jesus Christ of latter day saints is done in vain. I found this to be an interesting thought, but as my mind wandered I knew that he what he said was true. Lastly the special privilege we had of seeing this little family be sealed!
           Today was a great day as well. We went to our home ward for the second time and were so grateful to be in a ward with such wonderful people! It is nice to walk into a ward and feel like you are home and part of a big family who we are already learning so much from! We are very glad to know that we are on a good path, and that the path we are on is gently watched over by our father in heaven!

Tootles!

I would like to introduce you to the newest edition of our family... Tootles!While visiting my mom today Mr. Beeb kept looking at the fish tank...longing for some of his own. We decided to run to the pet store and have a look. Nothing seemed to tickle his fancy that was water bound...so we headed over to the birds and right away Tootles tugged on his heart strings. We then realized we could get a cage, food, a little beak scrubby, and the bird for only $27.00 and before we could blink we were walking out of the store with our 8 week old little fuzz ball! Mr. Beebs peas will no longer be his pride and joy! ha ha ha!

Lettuce

Excuse my finger...but this is where it has grown to today...Lettuce and spinach to the far right. Beets, cabbage, Onions, peppers, tomatoes peas, carrots, cucumbers and squash...eariler today..there were dear tracks right through the center...hope they stay out of it!! DANG DEER!

Such an exciting time! Spring has sprung and with it is bringing all the beauties of life. Flowers, green green green, and beautiful birdies! About 3 weeks ago Mr.Beeb and I decided to attack the plan of ours to grow a garden for ourselves and others. What an adventure that Saturday was. The sun came out for the first time in quite a while as well as the rest of the modern world. We woke up early, went to home depot to get the fixin's for some good planting soil...and..some flowers for Sachi(friendship, whom you will meet shortly.

Well after hours of fighting the crowds who decided to do the same thing we left home depot. Went home and got started on the project. Tilled the ground,mixed in the poop, tilled some more, and planted the tiny little seeds. We went to bed that night exhausted, but the majority of our prayers that night was to protect those little seeds and the garden it would become that we could feed our family and others from it. Take a look at how the little ones are doing, I'm sure you will agree that prayers are answered with a little bit of work and some tiny seeds.
