Easter

I love the feelings that the Easter season brings, almost like Christmas without all the hustle and bustle. When Easter comes, so to does the message of our Savior, Jesus Christ...The real reason for the season. Sacrament meeting today was absolutely wonderful. Mr. Beeb was able to bless the sacrament today. After doing so, he came back down to sit with me and said "That was special beeb, I got to bless the sacrament on Easter Sunday." This made my heart of course swell with gratitude, #1 for a husband who appreciates and loves the gospel with all his heart, #2 for the opportunity my sweet heart had to remember in a more personal way the sacrifice Jesus Christ had for us all. After sacrament meetings and the wonderful messages shared we got to teach our little primary class, who were of course, amp'ed up on sugar. We taught a really neat lesson that involved Easter eggs, scripture, and little things that symbolized the death and Resurrection. Those little children were shocked to know that the reason for Easter was not because of the Easter bunny, or the candy, or new clothes, but that it was to help us remember Jesus Christ and what he did for all of us who have come short of the glory of God. May we NEVER forget what the mission of our savior is. To those of you who have forgotten, I plead that you soften your hearts and remember because Jesus Christ has suffered for you too, to be forgiven of the mistakes that we all make on a daily basis. He loves you and wants you to return. Just as we heard from Elder Holland in conference "It is never too late to return, however if you procrastinate the time is becoming too late."

The title for today's Blog is also a link to some wonderful videos to help us all remember our savior, his mission, life, sacrifice, and Resurrection.

My how the time fly's when your madly in Love!

Whew! It has been nearly 5 months since our last update! I do apologize... I will start up from December where I left off.. After that crazy storm, a couple weeks later and we where in Sunny AZ for Christmas! We decided to have a little adventure of our own this year. The first night of our Road trip to AZ was spent in Las Vegas! It was a Blast!! Mr. Beeb had never before ridden the rides on top of the stratosphere, so, I made him do it. We stayed in the Stratosphere hotel itself and this cut costs of the rides by a landslide...The ride of choice was the "BIG SHOT"...This is up on top of a 921 foot high building...(Picture below..just pulled it from the website because I have not yet uploaded our own!)

This ride is phenomenal if you are looking for a quick heart stopper. It shoots you up into the air with no warning whatsoever, and then before you reach the top you are free falling back down as the machine brings you back to the base. I wish you could have all been there to witness Mr. Beebs reaction to this heart stopping thrill ride. It was purely priceless. That night we went to a cute little 50's diner inside the hotel and then straight to bed (which ended up being around 2 am) This is exactly what our hotel room looked like!

Granted...one bed was used for our suitcases and the other for our snuggles!

That morning we went to the MGM Grand and tried to see the loins (they are Mr. Beebs favorite animal) However, our efforts were dashed as we realized that they let them out 2 hours after we arrived. We wanted to carry on so we drove down the strip and then were mission bound!

We arrived to AZ around 6 and were welcomed with such comforting arms by Phillips grandparents. We also did a little touring of his mission that same day! It was so neat to meet these people I only saw pictures of, and  hear their stories of when Mr. Beeb was a missionary! What a fantastically wonderful missionary he was too! I am so grateful for my sweet husbands service, I know his dedication and sacrifice helped shape the wonderful husband he is. What a blessing that was for him and our little family! While in AZ we mostly just visited and talked with family and friends he met on his mission, I wouldn't have traded anything for the things I learned about my husband while we were down there!

Our trip carried on into the new year...We spent New Years eve in St. George. We arrived in St. George around noon or so took a much needed nap, and then went to the grocery store and bought little horns, fireworks, sparkling cider for toasting, glasses and hats...then went to dinner at the pizza factory, then to see the newest Mission Impossible movie. The movie got out at 11:56, we rushed home and made it just in time for the midnight clamor! We popped our poppers, shouted, smooched and toasted in our new year!

Excuse the blurr...this was taken by our cell phone! Whoops!...you get the general idea!

Next up January where we celebrated 2 glorious birthdays. Little Sister and Pappa T, one year older and wiser to...happy birthday, to you! lol...January as I remember it was very refreshing. It was a time for us to really focus on some goal setting, as well as enjoy the newness that 2012 had to offer. I set some goals for health and am pleased to say 4  months later, with the help of a dear friend I am still on track! whoooot! Mr Beeb and I also shared some goals that we are also working toward! He is back in school and doing incredibly well! I am SO very proud of him and his efforts involving our future! What an amazing man he is.

February My sweet dad turned the big 50! half a century old.... that's big business! We celebrated with him and his friends downtown in a really neat bar, which was for us an adventure to be in a bar! hahaha Everyone  kept telling us how neat it was for us Mormons to be supporting our dad, even if it was in a bar! He is my dad, of course I would be there! Happy 50 paps!

Cheers to the big time!
I was also blessed with a new job! I now work with many spinal cord injured patients as a physical therapy aide and am also learning more of how insurances work as a receptionist! visit www.neuroworx.org to learn more about this miraculous place I have been able to work in. Read about Dale Hull, and Jan Black who are the founders of this business and the incredible people they are! Dale Hull is a physician that had been jumping on the trampoline with his grandchildren when all of a sudden he slipped and sustained a spinal cord injury. He    is a quadriplegic, who now is walking and co-owner of a business to help others like he was helped. Phenomenal people I am blessed to work with! I also had a redheaded step-bro return from his mission! What a great experience It has been to see as an outsider what it feels like to have a missionary come home. He has become such a confident grown man, with a testimony and zeal for living the gospel that only comes from a missionary who thrusted his sickle in with all of his might. Welcome Home E. Heusser.

March was another enjoyable month! It consisted of rigorous exercise schedules, mondo amounts of learning in my new job, and another trip to St. George for the annual Heusser/ Asay reunion. Mom and K. were very generous in using their timeshare to get a large enough space where our family could go enjoy for the weekend. We went swimming ( in the freezing, windy, cold, water) then came up for dinner. Mr. Beeb and I then enjoyed sacrament meeting the next day! It's always nice to visit a ward and not be distracted by the callings you have. The messages were truly inspirational! We also celebrated My mothers birthday and my darling Bro-in-laws birthday as well while we were down there! I love Family!

Now that is about all for now, April has begun, Easter is this Sunday and I am excited to dye some eggs, eat some yummy candy, and reflect on the Resurrection of our savior.
