With Brother A's leaving came a new sense of gospel regeneration in both Mr Beeb and I. We have been very humbled at the strength of He and his former fiancee'. It is purely incredible what some will do when they know there is a higher power guiding the way, they both have been such strong pillars of faith amid all of their trials and we are very grateful for their example. With Brother A's leaving I recommitted myself to strengthen the important parts of me, my testimony and knowledge of the gospel through study, prayer, fasting, and a more diligent effort to be the helping hand the Lord needs me to be for him. Mr. Beeb and I have noticed such a difference in our lives as we are turning our hearts to our father. True we feel more tried in ways we would not have imagined, but, as we hold to the rod we see that the Lord is just purifying us for future events! We are learning that life is not always what you think it will be like. Things come in time, as they are needed not desired, and in learning patience you truly do posses your soul.
School has been quite challenging for me this semester so the idea of it getting harder scares me to death. If you ask Mr. Beeb what I have been like lately his reply would most likely be...in the sweetest words possible.." A basket case." He has been so very patient with me, so supportive of my efforts and, so willing to help when I need him most. This was shown to me in a very big way this month already by his sacrificing of his hard work to help pay some debts that we a-crewed. Boy was that a humbling moment in time!
We are both very much looking forward to November! Not only do we become more aware of our blessings this month, but it is one month closer to the month where we reflect on the greatest gift of all. Our savior Jesus Christ. I personally love this time of year, gift giving to brighten one's day, the cold crisp air, and the feeling that comes as people remember the savior and the sacrifice he made for us all. Plus, we have a fun trip planned! going to visit Mr. Beebs mission (my very first time there! YAY!) On that note, many people have been listing a blessing for everyday in November....I think it is a FANTASTIC idea...here it goes!
- A wise and loving Father in Heaven, who always knows whats best.
- The greatest older brother, Jesus Christ, his life, ministry, mission, and sacrifice.
- The Gospel of Jesus Christ which gives us all the gift of faith for something more than this life we are living, points us on a straighter course, and gives the world a power greater than its own...the priesthood.
- Temples on earth, and the ability they have to turn our hearts to our fathers and their hearts to ours as we perform ordinances as well as the ceiling covenant performed therein.
- Being married to the most wonderful man heaven could have blessed me with.
- Missions and how both of our perspectives have changed because of them.
- A Living prophet, and apostles who lift our hearts with comfort and remind us where to look in time of need.
- A loving family who offers strength, words of wisdom, bellyaching laughs, and the warmest hugs.
- Music and the inspiration it can be when nothing else seems to fit the place in your heart it touches.
- Education and the ability to make our minds stronger in many different ways.
- A Roof over our heads to keep us warm, and to decorate!
- True friends who are at times the strength you need to carry on and laughs to smile.
- Love and how it heals wounds you didn't know existed.
- The beauty of the earth and sights we can see daily that lift our soul.
- Animals that brighten our day...(tootles...and Dottie)...yes we did get another bird! She is beautiful!
