THE TOBLER FAMILY: Humming Birds, Moose and Bears...Oh my!

Mr Beeb and I recently returned from our first summer adventure this year! 5 day camping trip!!! Whooooo. Initially it was supposed to be time off for a pioneer trek that our stake was doing, however, due to circumstances we did not end up going. We still decided to keep the time off we had requested because it is very hard for my sweetheart to get time off and we were over due for some time away from life together!

As we looked for a spot with availability with the same dates as we had time off we came across this campsite called upper still water....and needless to say we had NO idea where it was, how to get there, or what was near this beautiful place. We booked it anyway and decided this would be the beginning of many summer adventures!

The adventure began as we left Wednesday morning, our GPS stopped working after it took us into this creepy dirt road (that we found out later was intended for ATV's....) Luckily my wonderful friends man had a working GPS on his splendid Iphone and he got us there safe and sound! Thank you dearly Yar! Here are some snap shots of what our drive in looked like!

Plain gorgeous huh!...luckily our campsite was just as breathtaking the next few are pics of our campsite we were quite spoiled if you ask me! The toilets were even flushing ones! I am all about that for sure!

I became a dutch oven cook master...almost over night! It was pretty fun too!

While we were here we did relaxed and just did fun things...shooting (even though technically it was not allowed...we figured it was just be-bee's so it was ok!...don't judge! lol), we hiked and came across the scariest thing that you could ever see hiking, we fished and saw a momma moose and baby moose along the way, we played games, ate great food and napped alot...minus Yar!

A Bear Paw print...headed toward our campsite along the hiking trail....AHHHHH! I didn't sleep well that night!

After we saw that I had the HARDEST time not waking up to every little noise...Around 1 am we heard a big THUD THUD CRASH! ....My Mr...rolled over to me and said " Did you hear that?"...My heart was pounding I could hardly respond because all I could think about was those bear tracks we saw earlier that day. The crash noise came from this very large animal bedding down in our campsite...It left about 4 hours later and I woke up again heart pounding, but knew we were okay because If it was going to do anything, it would have by now for sure!...That morning My sweet man went on a tracking hunt to find out what it was....A GIGANTIC MOOSE! apparently when this moose got up and left it waltzed its way right over by Yar and Dee's tent brushing up against it and leaving a mark for us to see the proof in the morning. We documented it to share with you all!
